IMPLEMENTATION OF ASYCUDA WORLD AT LILONGWE PORT, DEDZA, MCHINJI AND BIRIWIRI BORDER STATIIONS.
Malawi Revenue Authority would like to inform members of the business community and the General Public that ASYCUDA WORLD (AW) has been implemented at Lilongwe Port, Dedza, Mchinji and Biriwiri Border Stations from 1st August.
All customs clearance transactions registered and processed on and after 1st August, 2016 at the affected stations shall be on the upgraded ASYCUDA WORLD platform. Transactions registered in ASYCUDA++. This will result in a gradual phase out of ASYCUDA++ transactions at the listed stations.
The Authority wishes to inform members of the business community that efforts are being made to ensure that there is limited disruption to operations at the affected Stations during this period. All queries should be directed to the Enquiries Desk at the respective Stations or AW Project Team on 01 820 500 or 0888 950 205.
